3.9. Seigneur ! Tu rassembleras le genre humain en un Jour au sujet duquel nul doute n’est possible.» Car Dieu ne faillit jamais à Sa promesse.
3.9 . Our Lord! it is Thou Who gatherest mankind together to a Day of which there is no doubt . Lo! Allah faileth not to keep the tryst .

3.16. qui disent : «Seigneur ! Nous croyons en Toi , fais-nous remise de nos péchés et préserve-nous du châtiment de l’Enfer !» ,
3.16 . Those who say : Our Lord! Lo! we believe . So forgive us our sins and guard us from the punishment of Fire ;

3.26. Quli allahumma malika almulki tu/tee almulka man tashao watanziAAu almulka mimman tashao watuAAizzu man tashao watuthillu man tashao biyadika alkhayru innaka AAala kulli shay-in qadeerun
3.26. Dis : «4 mon Dieu, Souverain suprême ! Tu donnes le pouvoir à qui Tu veux et Tu l’enlèves à qui Tu veux ! Tu honores qui Tu veux et Tu abaisses qui Tu veux ! Tu détiens le Bien et Ta puissance n’a point de limite !
3.26 . Say : O Allah! Owner of Sovereignty! Thou givest sovereignty unto whom Thou wilt , and Thou withdrawest sovereignty from whom Thou wilt . Thou exaltest whom Thou wilt and Thou a_base_st whom Thou wilt . In Thy hand is the good . Lo! Thou art Able to do all things .

3.38. C’est dans ce temple que Zacharie adressa à son Seigneur cette prière : «Seigneur ! Veuille me donner une postérité vertueuse ! N’est-ce pas Toi qui exauces les prières?»
3.38 . Then Zachariah prayed unto his Lord and said : My Lord! Bestow upon me of Thy bounty goodly offspring . Lo! Thou an the Hearer of Prayer .

3.53. Seigneur ! Nous avons foi en ce que Tu as révélé et nous suivons Ton prophète. Nous Te demandons de nous inscrire au nombre des témoins.»
3.53 . Our Lord! We believe in that which Thou hast revealed and we follow him whom Thou hast sent . Enroll us among those who witness ( to the truth ) .

3.147. Les seuls mots qu’ils répétaient étaient les suivants : «Seigneur ! Pardonne-nous nos péchés et nos excès , affermis nos pas et accorde-nous la victoire sur les infidèles.»
3.147 . Their cry was only that they said : Our Lord! Forgive us for our sins and wasted efforts , make our foothold sure , and give us victory over the disbelieving folk .
