3.191. qui, debout, assis ou couchés, ne cessent d’invoquer Dieu et de méditer sur la création des Cieux et de la Terre en disant : «Seigneur ! Ce n’est pas en vain que Tu as créé tout cela ! Gloire à Toi ! Préserve-nous du châtiment de l’Enfer !

3.192. Seigneur ! Celui que Tu voues aux flammes de la Géhenne, Tu le couvres d’opprobre, et les injustes ne bénéficieront d’aucun secours.
3.192 . Our Lord! Whom Thou causest to enter the Fire : him indeed Thou hast confounded . For evil doers there will be no helpers .

3.193. Seigneur ! Nous avons entendu une voix qui nous conviait à croire en Toi, et nous avons cru. Seigneur ! Pardonne-nous nos péchés ! Absous nos mauvaises actions et reçois-nous, après notre mort, parmi les justes !
3.193 . Our Lord! Lo! we have heard a crier calling unto Faith : "Believe ye in your Lord!" So we believed . Our Lord! Therefor forgive us our sins , and remit from us our evil deeds , and make us die the death of the righteous .

4.75. Wama lakum la tuqatiloona fee sabeeli Allahi waalmustadAAafeena mina alrrijali waalnnisa-i waalwildani allatheena yaqooloona rabbana akhrijna min hathihi alqaryati alththalimi ahluha waijAAal lana min ladunka waliyyan waijAAal lana min ladunka naseeran
4.75. Pourquoi ne combattriez-vous pas dans la Voie de Dieu pour défendre les opprimés, hommes, femmes et enfants dont les cris ne cessent de retentir : «Seigneur ! Délivre-nous de cette cité à la populace si cruelle ! Envoie-nous de Ta part un protecteur et désigne-nous un défenseur !»?
4.75 . How should ye not fight for the cause of Allah and of the feeble among men and of the women and the children who are crying : Our Lord! Bring us forth from out this town of which the people are oppressors! Oh , give us from Thy presence some protecting friend! Oh , give us from Thy presence some defender!

7.23. – «Seigneur, dirent Adam et son épouse, nous avons agi injustement envers nous-mêmes. Si Tu ne nous pardonnes pas, et si Tu nous refuses Ta grâce, nous serons à jamais perdus.»
7.23 . They said : Our Lord! We have wronged ourselves . If Thou forgive us not and have not mercy on us , surely we are of the lost!

3.38. C’est dans ce temple que Zacharie adressa à son Seigneur cette prière : «Seigneur ! Veuille me donner une postérité vertueuse ! N’est-ce pas Toi qui exauces les prières?»
3.38 . Then Zachariah prayed unto his Lord and said : My Lord! Bestow upon me of Thy bounty goodly offspring . Lo! Thou an the Hearer of Prayer .

3.53. Seigneur ! Nous avons foi en ce que Tu as révélé et nous suivons Ton prophète. Nous Te demandons de nous inscrire au nombre des témoins.»
3.53 . Our Lord! We believe in that which Thou hast revealed and we follow him whom Thou hast sent . Enroll us among those who witness ( to the truth ) .
